On the go!

Asked to sit to eat his snack, Sam chose to walk to another
room and sit between two scarecrows.
So much for sitting! Man this cookie is great!

It's pretty difficult to get a snapshot of Sam sitting still or looking at the camera these days. He is just so very busy exploring his surroundings and doing all of the cool things that he is learning to do. So, here is my attempts at capturing the little man actually looking at the camera. He is so much fun, really a total blast to be with. He is talking up a storm, I have trouble keeping track of all of his new words.

Cousin JJ is 2!!

Sam was so excited to celebrate Cousin JJ's second birthday with him. They wore birthday hats (though briefly) and both were thrilled that JJ got some really neat new toys. Sam decided to say Happy Birthday to JJ after he awoke from his nap by tackling him and grabbing his nose. JJ was a great sport about it.

The two boys have spent tons of time together in the past 9 months and they are enjoying playing together more and more. They often greet each other with hugs, argue over trucks, and more recently have begun playing "tackle".....which they both will say before tackling the other.

Thanks JJ for being such a great cousin and an even better friend....Love Sam

Haircut

Sam's second hair cut. I have been wanting to buzz his hair off for a while, and Dad finally gave it the okay. Here's a before and after.

Down by the bay...

Sam had a great weekend visiting with Chuchee Kylene and Uncle Brian. We stayed there Friday night and went to the Chesapeake Bay on Saturday. It was so much fun to play in the sand and the water and it was wonderful to spend some time wrestling and playing with his cousins. He also got to spend time with Mom Mom and Pop and Uncle Jason.

Just another Saturday night on the town....

I cannot believe how big Sam has gotten right before my eyes. Here he is after we returned from going out to dinner Saturday night. I just thought he looked so adorable with his big boy jeans and polo shirt on....I couldn't resist taking a few pictures. Now I understand why people continue to dress their children in one-piece rompers....He looks like such a big boy in his jeans.

September Birthdays

Happy Birthday Pop, Uncle Jason, and Chuchee Kylene. We got to spend some time with the family this weekend with everyone staying over Friday. Then we had brunch at Mom Mom and Pop's on Sunday. It was very tasty and Sam just loved seeing his doting cousins once again.

Thank you Steven and Margeaux for having us over Labor Day weekend. We had a great time visiting with the family and had a blast at Jack's 3rd birthday party, Tim and Teisha threw a great party. Above the Newleyweds, Kristy and Steve and Margeaux and Steven, try to relax as Sam runs in circles. We had a great lunch at "Bang Bang Mex Mex"....and yes that is the name of the restaurant. Thanks again and we can't wait to see you again soon!
