The Jersey Shore!

Thanks to Joe's parents we were able to get away on vacation at the Jersey shore. The whole family was there and it was a great time. Thanks to grandma and grandpa for Sam's beach chair, there are a million pictures of him in it because he just looks so darn cute! Aunt Karen gets lots of smiles from Sammy, he's a little flirt. I got plenty of beach time, thanks to grandma who was willing to occupy Sam, who didn't get to go down to the beach. It was either too hot or too windy for our little man. That didn't stop Sammy from sporting his many bathing suits, I couldn't help myself, he looked adorable. We look forward to going down to the shore again next year.

Chicken Barbeque!!

Thankfully we were able to attend the annual family chicken barbeque on my father's side. We were so excited for everyone to meet Sam. Sam just turned 11 weeks on the day of the chicken barbeque, so I did have my hands full that day....and therefore did not get any photos of Sam with the family other than with his cousins!! So much for the tradition of getting pictures of each family....we'll have to remember next year. Taylor and Jacob just love their cousin "baby Sammy", as they call him, and do a great job entertaining him. We had a nice time at the barbeque and it was great to see the family!

Steven and Margaux's wedding in NY!

Sam's first big car trip!! And boy did we bring the troops to support us! Thanks to my parents for making the 6 hour car trip to watch over Sam so Joe and I could enjoy ourselves. Thanks to my sister for coming to hang out with Sam and cousin JJ.

Sam looks so cute in his pinstripe pants. Sam and JJ got all dressed up to get photos taken with the family. Margaux and Steven looked great and I think everyone had a wonderful time! This was the first time Sam met most of Joe's side of the family.

July 4th and other cute pictures!

Pop Rarig and Sam were dressed patriotically for our 4th of July celebration.

MomMom Rarig wanted to visit her newest grandson for her birthday on the 10th. Sam was ready to cheer on the Phillies with the shirt that Pop and MomMom gave him.

Father's Day!!!

The proud father on Father's Day! Joe is already a wonderful father, Sam and I are so lucky. Aren't they cute! Uncle John and JJ are thrilled to have a hunting and fishing buddy. This is both brothers first father's day, and we are very fortunate to be able to spend it together with our fabulous sons.

Getting Sam to sleep in his bassinet was a challenge but we had his wonderful grandmothers there to help us! They have been so wonderfully helpful!!
