Little cousin Jake is 1!!! Sam and big cousin JJ pal around a lot, being that they are nearly the same age and spend tons of time together. Little cousin Jake is getting bigger and soon will be able to hold his own with the two older boys. Sam just loves his cousin "Jakey" as he calls him. He greets him with tickles, saying "Jakey, Jakey, Jakey" and Jake returns the love with the oh-so-sweet open mouth kisses.

Daddy is quite the outdoors man. And Sam loves the outdoors too. They are a perfect pair looking for everything gross like frogs, worms, spiders, animal poo, mud, etc.. Sam loves to learn new things from daddy. Here are a few pictures from their outdoor adventures.

Fun in the Sun.........

Sam and JJ are closest buds. Here they are playing in the pool, using squirt guns, and posing for the camera. Little cousin Jake was sleeping, but soon enough he'll be joining in on the fun.

Happy Birthday to Sammy!

Our little boy just turned 2!! I can't believe it. He really is not a baby anymore, he is getting so big. For those of you that know Sam, he loves vehicles.....cars, trains, trucks of all kinds including dump trucks, tanker trucks, mack trucks, cement mixers, bull dozers, oh the list goes on. Among his favorites is firetrucks.....so what better than to have a firetruck themed 2nd birthday party. Here are some pictures of Sam with a few party guests, our immediate family and a few closest friends. He seemed shocked by the firetruck cake and the fact that everyone was singing happy birthday to him. I was so busy enjoying the festivities that I didn't take too many photos, but here are a few of what I captured.

We spent Sam's 2nd birthday playing at the park. He loves his new ATV, here he is practicing driving!!

Birthday month!

I don't know where the time goes, but Sam is going to be turning 2 at the end of the month. He is such a great kid. He has grown into such a curious, energetic little boy. I have to catch myself from calling him my baby. Here he is playing with a balloon, which reminds me of his upcoming day.

HEAT WAVE!

Sam kept cool by squirting himself in the face with a hose.....in addition to everything else in site. I managed to only take these two pictures, I was caught up in enjoying the heat and keeping Sam and his cousins busy in the pool and wagon.
