Merry Christmas!

HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY TOMMY!!!

Our little boy turned 1 on December 13th. Where does the time go? He is

always smiling, in a good mood, and just rolls with the punches. He is a flexible little guy but is sure going to be tough, he takes quite a lot from big bro Sam! Happy birthday Tommy, we love you little guy!

Baby it's cold outside

Here we are getting our tree. We really tried to get a nice picture of the 2 boys, Tommy wasn't happy and Sam was extremely silly. They have so many beautiful places to take pictures at the tree farm. We ended up getting a rare picture of the 4 of us, which was a nice suprise. Bundle up and stay warm out there!

Tis the Season.....

Thanksgiving weekend is over and we have put the lights up for Christmas and Sam and I are constantly decorating the house while Tommy tears it down. Now begins the process of Christmas activities.... Santa pictures, Santa's reindeer, breakfast with Santa, behaving for Santa!!! And the quest to take a picture of both boys together looking at the camera, with a smile would be an added bonus! It was soooo much easier with one child to capture millions of precious moments and actually get my hands on a print of the photo! Shutterfly has been a huge help in my quest to document Sam and Tommy's childhood. I've used them to purchase 4x6 and 5x7 photos. I love their photobooks, and have made them both for myself and my brother as a very sentimental keepsake of our children's year. Don't forget grandparents' gifts......I've given photo mugs, magnets, and mouse pads and they all look great. Check out Shutterfly for quality Christmas cards with great designs including styles for Classic Christmas greetings (my personal favorite) and more contemporary styles. So, the plan for this year's Christmas cards is to torture my 2 boys (and anyone else in the vicinity that may be of some help) by dressing them in outfits and taking picture after picture until I get a winner!! Or......maybe just by chance I will capture a beautiful moment!

JJ is 4!!

October 10th

Sam's best buddy is 4! Where does the time go? And according to
Sammy, now he is 3 all by himself.

A new little cousin.....Johnny!!

JJ and Jake are big brothers and Sam and Tommy are big cousins again. There are boys galore in our family. Johnny was born August 12th and he is just as cute as can be!

Good Morning

Tommy

Tommy is such a happy baby. Here he is playing with a ball and doing his usual, smiling. He absolutely loves to climb the stairs. He's hilarious when he throws a ball, half the time it drops behind his head. And the latest and greatest, yesterday he took a step towards me! I was waiting to catch him, but it was so cute.

First Day of Preschool

So, we are a month in....but I thought I would share a couple pics from Sam's first day. He loves school, has no separation issues, is slowly making new friends, is learning a lot, and really likes his teachers. He is super happy to see Tommy and I when I pick him up so the absence really makes his heart grow fonder! He is beginning to talk about girls....or one little girl specifically. I don't know if I am ready for this!

My little brother

Tommy is really getting around and Sam is able to be a little rougher with him, which really suits Sam. Sam's been a great big brother, making sure that Tommy doesn't get any smaller toys by putting them out of his reach, alerting me if he is close to any wires, and entertaining him if Tommy gets bored (the tackles, hair pulling, squeezing are there too, don't worry). Sam recently said that he likes having a "big family".

Chicken BBQ

Here's a family picture from the BBQ. So nice that we all could be there and spend some time with our extended family. The lady in red is Sam and Tommy's great grandmother, and my grandmother. Sam calls her Mom Mom V and sometimes we shorten it to "V". She's a really good sport, gets around well, and loves to spend time with her great grandchildren. Love you Mom Mom V!

The Shore

Sam and Tommy had a wonderful time at the shore for the weekend with their cousins. It was very nice to spend time with our family!

Happy 9th Birthday to my niece and God daughter! You are a beautiful girl and are developing into a very helpful and mature little lady. We love you very much!

the Beach

Part II....We had a really nice time on vacation with my family. My brother and his family were down the first week and my sister and her family were there the second week. We were able to go out to dinner a couple of times. We enjoyed the beach daily and Sam loved riding the trolley.

It was nice to see how quickly Jacob and Taylor are growing up. BJ is getting so big too, 6 and a half months now. Him and Tommy had a great time sharing their toys and bathing together.
