Mommy's on vacation, so it's time to celebrate. Uncle Jason had vacation this past week too, so Sam and I were lucky enough to spend some time with cousin Taylor and Jacob. Here are some pictures from our week full of fun, at the zoo, Sesame Place, and the beach. What a great start to my summer break.

Chuchee Kylene visits!

We were so lucky to have Chuchee Kylene visit so much this week. Of course I still had to work, and being that it was the last week, I guess taking pictures was the furthest from my mind. Sam and I had a wonderful time spending some quality time with Chuchee, Sam was thrilled to have Chuchee watch him one day, and it was great to spend some time with Uncle Brian and Daddy on Friday and Saturday.

It wouldn't be a birthday celebration without playing with some trains and cars! JJ, Sam, and Jake (not pictured) helped Aunt Maria to ring in her birthday. We hope you enjoyed this one Aunt Maria!

Happy Birthday Mom Mom!

I usually spend my mother's birthday with her, and this year was no different. We celebrated a day late. We were able to enjoy the pool, crabs, and dessert......some of mom's favorite things. Sam awoke from his nap when we were finishing up the crabs, and did he ever get a kick out of them!

Nothing like Jersey corn.

Sam absolutely loves corn. Unfortunately he only gets to eat it about once every 3 months when I do a trial to see if he is still sensitive to it. This month he got to enjoy 3-4 ears of corn.....and yes he is still sensitive so we'll have to wait a few more months before indulging again!

Sam had so much fun at the zoo with his aunt and uncle, cousins JJ and Jake, and mom and dad. His favorite animals were the snakes, alligators, and the fish. Here are a few pictures of our day. Sam looks forward to many more visits to the zoo as Grandma and Grandpa generously got us season passes!

For those of you who know Sam, he loves to talk. He doesn't stay still very long to look at the camera for a picture but he'll certainly say whatever I ask him to say and pose briefly. I have many shots with his mouth half open. I hope everyone enjoyed their long weekend as much and we did.
